It’s only getting worse as more parents send their non-vaccinated offspring to school. Children are being put at risk. Their parents aren’t getting the correct information because they already have it set in their mind that what they know is correct. They’ve convinced themselves that vaccinations causes autism, By their logic, a dead child is better off than one with autism.
If you still believe that vaccines causes autism, I have the perfect article for you. I hope you like it. People who listen to every word that Jenny McCarthy and people like her says, I have something to tell you: They don’t know what they’re talking about! Not vaccinating your child – to me – is child abuse. Aside from that, you’re also endangering the lives of other people’s children and you’re absolutely hopeless for getting your parenting advice from Jenny McCarthy.
Here’s proof that people don’t have the slightest clue to what they’re saying:
I will never vaccinate my children. that’s not natural and it means it’s not gods way. we can’t play god, people! if my children catch a deadly disease, it’s because god intended it, but if I vaccinate them and they become autistic, it’s all my fault. anyone who vaccinated their children will go to hell, end of discussion
I’m not sure where exactly in the bible where Jesus tells anyone not to vaccinate their kids. Since that person’s reasoning is that “it’s not natural” they should say goodbye to glasses, clothes, electricity, heating, refrigerators, medicine, stoves, washing machines, air conditioners, etc.
Can you imagine telling the people of a third world country that you chose not to vaccinate you and your family while they’re fighting off their 3rd case of a diseases that you can easily be vaccinated against? If you’re anti-vaccination you are selfish, ignorant, naive, and should just go find a cave to live in.
Just for shits and giggles:
Vaccinated kids still get chicken pox – yet parents like you are still putting their kids through painful vaccinations for NOTHING. You’re giving money to corporations who want to feed off your kids pain. Ridiculous. DO SOME RESEARCH.
There are a lot of reasons to why a child would still get chicken pox. To keep other children from getting it would be to vaccinate your child. Ever heard of herd immunity? If there’s a child that cannot be vaccinated because they could be immunocompromised, the other children who were vaccinated for chicken pox are protecting the immunocompromised. People who are vaccinated can in fact still get chicken pox and or other diseases that they were vaccinated for.
Fortunately, the vaccination has taught your body how to fight and it’s not nearly as severe as it used to be or would be were you not vaccinated. The vaccine has made us go from 4 million cases a year to only 400,000 cases. Vaccines protect you, whether corporations make money from it or not. They also protect those who can’t even get them when those who can, do. If you seriously think that the your health, you children’s health, and the health of those around you are less important than giving the middle finger to a corporation, then there is nothing anyone can do. But try doing some research first, before you make such a rash, immature decision that will ultimately hurt those around you.
But of course, facts won’t change the minds of anti-vaxxers. Please realize that I am well aware that vaccines are not 100% effective. Modern medicine is unfortunately not infallible, as nice as that would be. Of course, some people suffer allergic reactions to vaccines. Of course, some people will end up with a weakened version of the disease. Guess what though? Without getting vaccinated, the chance of someone contracting a deadly disease is MUCH higher. A vaccinated person is much less likely to die from a reaction to a polio vaccine than a person who wasn’t vaccinated is. You have an estimated 1 in 100,000 chance to suffer an allergic reaction to a vaccine (0.001%), but adults who get polio have up to a 30% chance of dying (2-5% for children).
If this isn’t a prime example of evolution and natural selection, I don’t know what is.
